University of Santo Tomas (UST) Profile
Introduced by a
Thomasian, the University of Santo Tomas which known as UST, is the Pontifical,
Royal, Catholic University of the Phillipines, is a Dominican institution of
learning founded in 1611, under the patronage of St. Thomas Aquinas. The
university as the oldest campus in Asia and also in Phillipines. UST is a school/university where i had my exchange program. Being there is a meaningful and best experience ever!
Mission
The university, in pursuit of truth guided by reason and illmunied by faith, dedicates herself to the generation, advancement, and transmission of knowledge to form competent and compassionate professionals committed to the service of the Church, the nation, and the global community.
Vision
Faithful to her centuries-old tradition of excellence, the University of Santo Tomas, envisions herself as a premier Catholic institution of learning in Asia, committed to the professional and moral formation of her stakeholders for social transformation.

There are 8 Faculties, 9 Colleges,
2 Institutes and 1 Conservatory of Music in UST. My buddy told me that if a
college already founded over a hundred years it will be called “Faculty”, but
if it’s less than a hundred years it will be stayed called “College”.
